Omar Ali

Omar Ali is an experienced mechanical engineer with a robust career spanning several decades in various leadership and engineering roles. Currently serving as the Head of the MEP Department at Basamh Trading & Industries Group since August 2019, Omar has previously held significant positions, including Senior Mechanical Engineer at Saudi Diyar Consulting where oversight of mechanical works for Royal Palaces in Jeddah was provided, and Head of MEP Department at Awtad Real Estate, managing MEP works for the AL MAJDOUL Tower project. Additional experience includes senior mechanical engineering roles in established organizations such as AIMS Holding, Saudi Binladin Group, Saudi Building & Construction Management, and Sohail Hafzi Consultant Engineers. Omar's career began as a Mechanical Engineer at the Egyptian Petrochemical Company after earning a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Alexandria University between 1979 and 1983.
