María Sofía Bergonzi

Geographic Information Systems Analyst at Base Operations

María Sofía Bergonzi has a strong background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analysis. María Sofía worked as a GIS Analyst at Base Operations from January 2023, where they used mapping software to analyze spatial data, designed and edited maps, and compiled and manipulated geospatial data. Prior to that, they worked at TSAagro from an unspecified date in 2018 until December 2022, conducting spatial analysis using remote sensing and analyzing soil use and the location of areas in relation to protected areas.

In terms of teaching experience, María Sofía Bergonzi was a Geography Teacher at Pilgrims' College from April 2019 to March 2022. María Sofía also taught at Colegio Oakhill Pilar - Buenos Aires from August 2021 to February 2022 and worked as a Substitute Professor of Geography at Colegio Cardenal Spínola in September and October 2017.

Before their career in GIS and teaching, María Sofía Bergonzi worked as an Administrative Secretary at VIDA Chiropractic from February 2014 to February 2016.

María Sofía Bergonzi obtained a B.A. in Geography from the University of Buenos Aires, from 2016 to 2022. María Sofía then pursued a Certificate in GIS oriented to the visualization of spatial problems from the same university in 2022. In 2023, they completed a Certificate in GIS from The George Washington University.

María Sofía also holds several additional certifications. In 2019, they obtained a first certificate from Cambridge Assessment English. In the same year, they became a Google Certified Educator Nivel 1. In 2020, they further enhanced their skills by obtaining the Google Certified Educator Nivel 2 certification. Additionally, they completed an Intensive English Program from the International Language Institute in DC in August 2022.
