Tertius Brits

Tertius (Terry) Brits is a seasoned professional in the engineering and project management sectors, currently serving as General Manager of Implementation at Base Resources since October 2024. Prior to this role, Terry held positions such as Project Director at Wave International, where management of medium to large mineral sands projects was key, and Chief Operating Officer at Wave Projects. With a strong background in engineering and project development management from Denel Dynamics, Sedgman, and various other organizations, Terry has led substantial projects across the mining and aerospace industries. An MBA in Technology Management from La Trobe University complements core expertise, which includes value optimization and technology development in resource projects.
