Kate Hansen

Software Engineer at Base Two

Kate Hansen has held a variety of roles since 2006. Kate began as an Independent Artist, followed by a role as Assistant to the Curator at Bank of New York Mellon in 2007. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as Director and Associate Director of Visual Programming at Future Tenant, and as Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University in 2010. Kate also held a role as Exhibition Coordinator/Chief Art Handler at Silver Eye Center for Photography in 2010 and Project Manager at Office of Public Art in 2011. In 2017, they became a Print + Media Designer (Independent Contractor) for Print Design, and in 2018 they served as a Web Developer + Designer (Independent Contractor). Since 2019, they have been a Software Engineer at Base Two.

Kate Hansen's education history includes attending Academy Pittsburgh for Web Development in 2017, Carnegie Mellon University for a Master of Arts Management from 2008 to 2010, and the University of Pittsburgh for a BA in Studio Arts from 2001 to 2004.
