Jess McCarter

Jess McCarter has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2003, they worked as a chef at Real Recovery LLC. From 2005 to 2009, they co-founded Sagebit, LLC, where they managed web app development projects and focused on hiring and training programs for women and underrepresented groups in the technology sector. In 2007, they served as a project manager at ASMALLWORLD. From 2008 to 2010, they held roles as an account manager and business development specialist at Samasource, where they developed partnerships, launched an ethical BPO internship program, and conducted investor outreach. In 2008, they also co-founded Ridebid.com, a reverse auction marketplace for the livery industry. In 2010, they co-founded Easy Creole, a food company in the San Francisco Bay area. From 2000 to 2013, they worked as a managing director at McCarter Trust. In 2019, they co-founded base86, inc., an enterprise SaaS company targeting the healthcare supply chain. In 2021, they founded Jules Rose Design, an interior design and remodeling project management firm. They also currently serve as the Director of Operations at 24 New Albany LLC dba 24 Main.

Jess McCarter attended Dartmouth College from 1996 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology. Prior to their time at Dartmouth, Jess attended the University of California, Berkeley in 1995. They also attended San Dieguito from 1992 to 1995.
