Kris Lachance

Kris Lachance has held various roles in the tech industry since 2014. Kris began their career as a Student Associate at Stikeman Elliott LLP, where they later worked as an Associate in the Private Equity Group. In 2018, they joined Real Ventures as an Entrepreneur in Residence and Associate on the investment team. In 2020, they became Co-Founder, Advisor and Co-CEO of The Commons (formerly Skillful), a company that provides high quality, online education for tech industry careers. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed Head of Growth at Basedash.

Kris Lachance began their educational journey in 2009, when they attended McGill University, graduating in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Theirtory. They then attended McGill University's Faculty of Law, graduating in 2015 with a Juris Doctor (J.D./B.C.L.). In the same year, Kris also attended the National University of Singapore, graduating with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) in International Law. No additional certifications have been reported.
