Jake Baum

Jake Baum is aScientific Advisor at baseimmune. Jake has over seven years of experience in research and management in the field of biological sciences. Their previous positions include Research Laboratory Manager at Imperial College London and Associate Research Fellow at Birkbeck, University of London. Jake's research has focused on the molecular, cellular and biophysical basis of parasite invasion and motility, with a focus on the lifecycle of malaria. Jake has also worked on drug discovery, vaccinology and essential protein-protein interactions.

Jake Baum's educational career began with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Birmingham. Jake then went on to complete a Master of Research in Microbiology at Birkbeck, University of London.
