Technical Support Lead at BaseKit

Nelly Perkins began their career in 2005 as a Graphic Designer at Billiards Pool. In 2007, they moved to Agora, where they worked as a Graphic Designer and managed a small team of designers and publicists. In 2009, they moved to RMG Connect, where they worked as a Graphic Designer. In 2011, they joined BaseKit, where they worked as a Technical Support Lead and Technical Support Agent and Trainer. In their role as Technical Support Lead, they worked closely with different teams to identify and document bugs, errors, workarounds, and limitations, and prepared and delivered training for several partners. As a Technical Support Agent and Trainer, they provided first-line support in English, Spanish, and French and created documentation for direct customers, partners, and new hires. Nelly was also exposed to agile methodology, JIRA, cucumber, and familiar with the creation of bug reports.

Nelly Perkins has a Master in Advertising Management from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, obtained in 2009. Nelly also has a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and Advertising from the Centro de Estudios Superiores de Diseño de Monterrey (CEDIM), obtained in 2005. In addition, they have obtained a Certified Software Tester (CSTE) certification from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in June 2022, and a Fluency in English from Duolingo, estimated as Expert level, in October 2015.
