Wendy Weston Chartered MCIPD is the current HR Director at BaseKit. Wendy has over a decade of experience in Human Resources Management, starting their career at Sainsburys Supermarkets Ltd in May 2003. Wendy was promoted to HR Manager in 2008 and was responsible for the development of 3 HR Managers in Training. Additionally, they increased the store's colleague engagement survey by 25%.

Wendy was fully responsible for all Learning & Development at Sainsbury's, from Induction through to senior management workshops. Wendy also frequently facilitated both technical and behavioural development workshops to colleagues and senior managers. Wendy provided on-going advice and coaching to their business manager and the store manager to form an effective business partnership.

At Sainsbury's, Wendy was also accountable for providing a high standard of advice, guidance and support to all colleagues and management on HR issues in accordance with operational and legislative requirements. Wendy controlled resource planning to ensure the store's labour budget was within line, managed absences effectively, and ensured that their team complied with health and safety and food safety regulations.

Wendy's extensive experience in Human Resources has led their to their current position as HR Director at BaseKit.

Wendy Weston Chartered MCIPD has a postgraduate diploma in human resource management from Edinburgh Napier University and a bachelor's degree in hospitality (hotel & catering) management from the same school.

Wendy Weston Chartered MCIPD reports to Simon Best, CEO. They work with Joe Tanner - Director of Operations, Mark Jeffries - Technical Director, and Ryan Jones - Sales Director, New Partnerships.
