Silvia Herrera

Silvia Herrera is a seasoned professional in language instruction and translation with extensive experience in both fields. Currently serving as a Spanish teacher at BaseLang since May 2020, Silvia has also been an independent translator and editor since October 2016, specializing in technical, legal, commercial, and financial translations in Spanish, English, and French. Previous roles include translation and editing positions at GCK Traducciones, Euroidiomas Agencia de Traducción, Master Traducciones, and W. R. Grace & Co., where expertise was applied to a wide range of documentation. Silvia holds a Master’s degree in Spanish Language Teacher Education from Universidad Internacional de La Rioja and a Licentiate in Translation and Interpretation from Universidad Ricardo Palma, along with several diplomas in management and project management.
