Christopher Heinecke has extensive experience in business development and management. Beginning a career in Human Resources at Karstadt from December 2000 to April 2005, Christopher transitioned to become the owner of Bugwelder in August 2005, a position held to the present day. In May 2025, Christopher took on the role of Director of Business Development DACH at Base.com (formerly BaseLinker), overseeing the implementation of products and services in the German-speaking market. Additionally, Christopher became the owner of Autoteile Otterndorf in December 2023. Educationally, Christopher holds a degree in Vehicle Engineering from HAW Hamburg, completed between 1997 and 2003.
