Anu Halme

Anu Halme has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. Anu is currently working at Basemark as the Head of Operations since April 2022. Prior to this role, they held the position of Head of Professional Services at Basemark from June 2020 to April 2022 and served as a Compliance Coordinator since May 2019.

Before joining Basemark, Anu worked as a Customer Relations Manager at Dream Broker from November 2018 to April 2019. Anu also worked at City Dev Labs as an Account Director from September 2017 to November 2018.

Anu has experience in business development and sales roles. Anu served as a Business Development Manager at EatAndTheCity.com, where they helped international media companies monetize their content influence through a restaurant discovery platform. This role lasted from October 2017 to October 2018. Anu also worked as a Sales Director at W3 Group Finland Oy, where they built digital solutions for other companies and improved their processes. Anu held this position from January 2013 to September 2016.

Anu has experience in campaign management as well. Anu worked as a Campaign Manager for Team Lisa Sounio-Ahtisaari during the May 2014 European Parliament election.

Early in their career, Anu held roles at HammerKit and Digital Chocolate Inc. At HammerKit, they served as a Sales Director, providing Hammerkit Cloudstore services to global PR agencies. This role lasted from May 2009 to September 2012. At Digital Chocolate Inc., Anu was a Key Account Manager, responsible for managing key accounts in German-speaking Europe. Anu held this position from September 2005 to May 2009.

Anu's earlier experience includes working as an Area Manager Central Europe at MForma Europe Ltd from June 2002 to June 2005. Anu also worked as a Regional Manager at Mforma Group Inc. in 2002.

Anu Halme has a Master's degree in Social Science from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. From 2017 to 2018, Anu also pursued brain-based coaching at the NeuroLeadership Institute. Additionally, Anu completed high school at Kallion ilmaisutaidon lukio from 1987 to 1990. Apart from their formal education, Anu has obtained certifications such as Data Privacy Officer (Datenschutzbeauftragte EU-DSGVO) from TÜV Rheinland Group in September 2018, and HubSpot Inbound Certification from HubSpot in January 2017.
