Albert Mercade

Albert Mercade is an experienced Data & AI Director at Basetis, where responsibilities include leading the Data Management & Integration Team, serving as a Project Manager for Gas Natural Fenosa, and implementing Agile and Lean methodologies. With a strong background in GIS development from ABSIS and programming expertise in various languages, including .NET and C++, Albert has played key roles as SCRUM Master and in product ownership within the Scrum framework. Early career experiences include software development in 3D modeling at UPC and financial software development at CIMNE. Albert holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science with a focus on Computer Graphics from UC Irvine and a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
