Peter Carey

Peter Carey has a strong background in technology and software development. In 2013, they completed an internship at Autodesk, where they added new features to Autodesk's solid modeller and ported the test suite to run on Android. After that, they worked as an undergraduate researcher at British Cycling, where they completed multiple research projects to develop advanced training tools for elite track cyclists. Peter also took on the role of project lead, supervising the development of a proof of concept mobile app for physiology assessment. In 2016, Peter joined Parallel Parking as the Head of Technology before co-founding BaseUp Technologies in 2017. As the CTO of BaseUp, Peter has been responsible for providing smart parking technology and revolutionizing the way employees interact with office parking.

Peter Carey obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Information Engineering from the University of Cambridge. Peter completed their studies from 2012 to 2016.
