Aaron Liu

Aaron Liu is a data scientist currently engaged in the PhD Leadership Development Program at BASF, where responsibilities include developing advanced digital platforms and machine learning models to enhance predictive capabilities for dispersions and resins technology. Previously, Aaron served as a product manager for the NA Aliphatic Polyester Polyol portfolio, leading initiatives expected to impact margins significantly by 2025. Aaron's background includes experience as a bioinformatics software engineer and a technical marketing specialist, where notable accomplishments involve developing a Python web application and presenting key findings to enhance internal digitalization efforts. With a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a BS from the University of Virginia, Aaron has also held various engineering roles at Sealed Air Corporation and Shell, as well as a research assistant position at the University of Tennessee Space Institute.
