Alex Schlesinger

Alex Schlesinger has extensive experience in formulation chemistry and product development within the agricultural sector. Beginning as a Formulation Chemist at Syngenta Crop Protection, responsibilities included developing high-value crop protection products and collaborating with production teams for scale-up. Subsequently, as a Formulation Scientist and later a Formulation Specialist at AgBiome, Alex advanced the commercialization of biological and combination pesticide products, notably leading the development and registration of Howler Fungicide, and enhancing formulation capabilities through innovative techniques. Currently, Alex serves as a Senior Scientist at BASF. Academic credentials include a B.S. in Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Biophysics, both from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
