Ali Scott possesses extensive experience in regulatory affairs and scientific research within the agriculture industry. Beginning a career as a Scientist at AgrEvo from 1998 to 2000, Ali transitioned to a Senior Scientist role at Aventis from 2000 to 2002. Ali then joined Bayer CropScience, serving in various capacities, including US Registration Manager and Regulatory Affairs Manager for the Region Americas from 2005 to 2014. Since July 2014, Ali has held the position of VP Global Head of Regulatory Affairs for Seeds and Traits at Bayer CropScience. Recently, in January 2024, Ali also took on the role of VP Global Regulatory Affairs Seeds at BASF. Ali earned a PhD in Crop Science with a focus on Plant Breeding & Genetics from North Carolina State University.
