Amber Smith

Amber Smith is a seasoned professional in the agricultural and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as a Product Launch Specialist at BASF since January 2024. Previously, Amber held various roles at AgBiome from June 2013 to December 2023, including Project Manager, where responsibilities encompassed leading cross-functional teams in novel crop protection product development, managing project plans, engaging stakeholders, and coaching team members. Earlier positions at AgBiome included Microbial Strains Production Coordinator and Fermentation Research Associate, contributing to research strains used in trials. Notably, Amber began a career in the industry as an intern while also earning a Master of Science in Plant Pathology from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Methodist University.
