Andrea Herold

Andrea Herold is the Director of R&D - White Biotechnology Research at BASF, where they lead a research and development group focused on industrial biotechnology. From 2003 to 2008, Andrea held various positions within BASF, including Lab Team Leader and Director of Research Groups. In 2011, Andrea became the Head of Microbiology in White Biotechnology Research, managing a team of approximately 30 and overseeing diverse research projects. Andrea earned a Diplom in Biology from Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg and a Ph.D. in Gene Expression from the European Molecular Biology Laboratory.
