Andreas Fuessl

Andreas Fuessl currently serves as the Vice President of Materials Research at BASF, a position held since August 2021, after serving as Staff to the Chief Technology Officer. From June 2016 to July 2021, Andreas was the Managing Director at Deutsche Nanoschicht GmbH and Head of Marketing for E-Power Management at BASF New Business GmbH. Prior experience at BASF includes roles as Head of Marketing for Polyamides in Europe, Senior Manager in Global Strategic Marketing and Strategic Planning, Executive Assistant to the Division President, and Research Scientist, spanning from July 2007 to May 2016. Earlier academic credentials include a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry and a Dipl. Chem. in Chemistry from Heidelberg University, as well as a Vordiplom in Chemistry from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
