Anja Simon has an extensive background in research and development, particularly in herbicides. They began their career at IBL GmbH as a laboratory leader in analytical chemistry from 2001 to 2002 before joining Syngenta in 2005, where they focused on material protection and global R&D for herbicides until 2007. Anja then worked at BASF from 2009, progressing from Global R&D Biology Project Leader to Global R&D Biology Team Leader in herbicides, and is currently the Director of R&D for Application Technology & Delivery Optimization. Anja earned a PhD from Universität Hohenheim in 2001 and holds a degree in Chemistry from Universität Stuttgart, which they completed in 1995.
