Astrid Jung

Astrid Jung is currently the Chief Trade Compliance Officer at BASF Group, where they oversee trade compliance operations. They have held various roles at BASF since 2008, including positions in global regulatory affairs, product compliance, sustainability, and marketing. Prior to joining BASF, Astrid worked as a Clinical Research Associate at Kendle Healthcare in 2007. Astrid is also pursuing advanced studies in biochemistry, earning a Master’s degree from the University of Regensburg and pursuing a PhD at the Max-Planck Institute for Medical Research in conjunction with the Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds, while serving as a Research Intern at The Rockefeller University.
