Benjamin McCurry

Benjamin McCurry, PE, holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University and a Technical Diploma in Non-Destructive Testing from Louisiana Technical College. With a career spanning over two decades, they began in design and manufacturing before moving into the offshore oil and gas industry. They worked as a piping and mechanical equipment engineer before transitioning to the chemical process industry, where they developed expertise in corrosion engineering, metallurgy, and failure analysis. Currently, Benjamin serves as a Senior Expert in Materials Engineering & Inspection at BASF Corporation, where they manage the Mechanical & Machinery Technical Expertise Group for North America and conduct forensic investigations to enhance the reliability and performance of equipment.
