Billy Johnson

Billy Johnson, PhD, is currently a Technology Manager for Battery Materials at BASF, where they leverage their expertise in materials science. Previously, they completed a PhD at Georgia Institute of Technology, focusing on polymer electrolytes for batteries. Billy's experience includes roles as a research scientist and customer experience champion in BASF's PhD Leadership Development Program, as well as serving as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at UNC Charlotte. Their earlier career involved analytical work as a Chemistry Technician at Special Metals and the City of Gastonia's Water Treatment facility.
