Burleson Smith

Burleson Smith is a seasoned professional in public and government affairs, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Public and Government Affairs for BASF Agricultural Solutions since November 2014, focusing on stakeholder relations in the Western United States. Prior experience includes roles as Industry Affairs Manager at Agricultural and Environmental Solutions, LLC, and Principal at the United Fresh Produce Association, along with significant positions at Policy Navigation Group and the United States Department of Agriculture, where Burleson contributed as Special Assistant/Director of Pest Management Policy. Earlier in the career, various roles were held at American Cyanamid. Burleson holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and has also studied at Trinity University.
