Carla Seidel

Carla Seidel has extensive experience in various leadership roles at BASF, having joined the company in 1996. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Analytical and Material Science, Carla has held multiple senior positions, including Senior Vice President for Material Physics, Analytics & Formulation, Vice President for Sustainable Materials for Circular Economy, Vice President for Acids & Specialties, and Vice President for Energy. Prior to these roles, Carla served as Senior Manager for Care Chemical Asia Pacific, a staff member to a Board Member, Chief Analyst in Strategic Planning and Competitive Intelligence, and Lab Manager/Operations Manager for the Central Analytical Department. Carla holds a Doctorate in Chemistry from Leibniz Universität Hannover, obtained between 1988 and 1996.
