Chia Woon Tan

Chia Woon Tan is a tax professional with over 13 years of experience in international tax and tax advisory. They began their career at BDO Malaysia, where they advanced from Tax Assistant to Tax Senior, focusing on tax compliance and advisory services. Chia then joined Deloitte, progressing from Supervisor to Director, specializing in international tax services for large multinational companies across various industries. Currently, Chia serves as the Head of Tax for Malaysia and Singapore at BASF. Chia holds a Diploma in Accounting and an Advanced Diploma in Financial Accounting from Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology and Tunku Abdul Rahman University College, respectively.
