Christian Ufrecht

Quantum Computing Researcher

Christian Ufrecht is an accomplished researcher in theoretical physics with extensive experience in quantum computing and machine learning. Christian has served as a Postdoctoral Researcher since April 2021, leading the QUANTUS project and engaging in mathematical modeling and numerical simulations of quantum-mechanical systems while teaching advanced topics such as quantum field theory. Previous roles include Research Assistant focusing on a PhD thesis dedicated to high-precision atom interferometry and various internships in water resources studies and data maintenance. Christian holds a Master of Science and a Doctorate in Theoretical Physics from Ulm University, alongside certifications in deep learning and machine learning from prestigious institutions. Currently, Christian is a Senior Scientist at Fraunhofer IIS and a Quantum Computing Researcher at BASF.
