Christophe Houssin

Christophe Houssin has extensive experience in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, currently serving as Deputy Plant Manager at BASF since January 2004, overseeing the daily production of approximately 25 fine chemicals and intermediates across 12 production lines. Previously held roles at BASF include Quality Manager and Senior Key Account Manager, where Christophe focused on sales and business development of organics for active ingredient synthesis, leading a global key account team for a major pharmaceutical client. Early in their career, Christophe worked as a Research Chemist, managing catalyst and process development, providing technical support, and assisting in plant startup operations. Christophe completed a PhD in Chemistry at Eindhoven University of Technology, contributing to expertise in the field, and holds an engineering degree from ENSICAEN.
