Darren Budd

Darren Budd is an accomplished commercial leader with extensive experience in the chemical industry, currently serving as Commercial Director for BASF Plc in the UK and Ireland since January 2016, overseeing the sales force for industrial chemicals. Prior to this role, Darren held the position of Managing Director at BTC Speciality Chemical Distribution Limited from November 2009 to December 2015, managing the UK operations and enhancing customer support and logistics for BASF's specialty chemicals. Previous experience includes various roles at BASF Performance Chemicals and BASF SE, focusing on business management and venture capital investments in the chemical sector. Darren holds a Ph.D. in Transition metal Complexation of Heterocyclic Conducting Polymers and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Kingston University.
