David Jones

David Jones has extensive experience in commercial procurement and trading, currently serving as the Commercial Procurement Manager/Trader at BASF Intertrade since August 2008. In this role, David manages commodity procurement and trading, focusing on LPG and Methanol. Previously, as the Group Manager for Domestic Transportation Procurement, David led a team overseeing the purchase of approximately $700MM in transportation services annually across various modes. David's background also includes significant roles in the development of procurement strategies for key raw materials and managing supplier performance. Prior to BASF, David held multiple positions at Hercules, Incorporated, and Kimberly-Clark, enhancing expertise in applications, technical sales, and engineering. David holds an MBA and an MS in Supply Chain Management from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas, along with a BS in Chemical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona and a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Villanova University.
