Deborah Young

Deborah Young is an experienced Human Resources professional with a robust background in strategic HR leadership spanning multiple industries. Currently serving as the Head of Human Resources for Coatings Solutions in North America at BASF since January 2017, Deborah champions the employer value proposition and fosters a high-performance culture. Prior roles include Vice President at the Inforum Center for Leadership, where responsibilities involved managing leadership development programs, and Vice President of Human Resources at IHS Automotive, providing global HR support. Deborah has also held senior HR positions at R.L. Polk & Co., Human Capital Solutions, Spartan Stores, Inc., Thomson Newspapers, and USG Corporation. Deborah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management/Human Resources from DePaul University.
