Diana Arias

Diana Arias is the Seed and Traits Regulatory Affairs Manager for the North America region at BASF, where they lead Country Regulatory Managers in the USA and Canada. They previously held various positions at BASF, including Manager of Regulatory Affairs and Research Scientist, overseeing global regulatory strategies and managing a soybean transformation group. Diana began their career as a researcher at CIAT and later served as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at The Ohio State University, where they focused on genetically modifying carbohydrate metabolism in cassava. They hold a Ph.D. in Plant Biology from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Science in Botany/Plant Biology from Universidad del Valle.
