Dieter Vanwesenbeeck

Dieter Vanwesenbeeck is currently a Lead Piping Engineer at BASF, and previously served as a Teamleader in mechanical and piping engineering at Elster-Instromet nv, where they managed a team and oversaw project budgets and approvals. Prior to that, Dieter worked as Head of Engineering at Wiese Europe, focusing on the design of loading equipment for liquids and gases, and was a Project Leader at Herentalse Metaalwerken Leysen, where they led projects related to electromechanical stagecraft equipment. Dieter also gained valuable experience as a mechanical designer/draftsman at Solvit. Educated with a Master’s in Structural Engineering from Bouwen met staal in collaboration with TU Delft and a Bachelor’s in Electromechanics from Stedelijke Nijverheidsschool Antwerpen, Dieter has a strong foundation in engineering principles.
