Dirk Elvermann

Dirk Elvermann currently serves as a Member of the Board of Executive Directors and President of Corporate Finance at BASF SE since September 2019. Prior to this role, Dirk held the position of Member of the Board, Finance, Sales and Commercial at Wintershall Holding GmbH from December 2017 to June 2019. Dirk's extensive background at BASF includes senior roles such as Senior Vice President for Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions Projects and Managing Director of BASF Polska, alongside previous experience as Vice President, Legal and Tax Asia Pacific, and Senior Counsel for Corporate M&A and Merger Control. Dirk began their career as an Attorney At Law at Dr. Knetsch und Partner Rechtsanwälte from January 2000 to October 2002. Dirk holds a Staatsexamen & Diplom in Rechts- und Wirtschaftswissenschaften from the University of Bayreuth and completed Rechtsreferendariat in Rechtswissenschaften in Land Nordrhein-Westfalen.
