Dr. Markus Schütte

Teamleiter F&E, Principal Scientist

Dr. Markus Schütte is currently the Teamleiter F&E and Principal Scientist at BASF, where they lead various research projects in the polyurethane sector. Prior to this role, they served as a Principal Scientist from 2014 to 2020, focusing on rigid foam and PU aerogels. Dr. Schütte has held several leadership positions at BASF, including Group Leader Research and Senior Scientist Research, specializing in lightweight construction and transportation. They earned a Diplom in Chemistry from Leibniz Universität Hannover and a Dr. rer. nat. in Physical Chemistry from the Max-Planck-Institut für Kolloide und Grenzflächen.
