Dr. Thomas Giesenberg is currently the Director of Marketing Specialty Amines EU & Contract Manufacturing at BASF SE. They have extensive experience in the chemical industry, having held various leadership roles at Ciba and Bayer, including Head of Application Center Paints & Coatings and Internship R&D. At BASF, they progressed from Head of Technology Strategy & Benchmarking to Director Global Strategic Marketing and eventually to their current position. Dr. Giesenberg earned a Diplom Chemiker and a Dr. rer. nat. in Chemistry from the University of Hanover, along with a Marie Curie Fellowship from the Technical University of Vienna.
