Dr. Torsten Wieprecht is currently the Director of Global Development at BASF, where they lead initiatives in Home Care. Previously, Dr. Wieprecht served as Head of Global Development for Optical Effects at BASF and held various leadership positions at Ciba Specialty Chemicals and DSM, including Head of Application for Oxidation Catalysts and Project Manager for Human Nutrition and Health. They completed a PhD in Biophysics at Forschungsinstitut für Molekulare Pharmakologie and earned a Master's degree in Chemistry from Humboldt University of Berlin. Prior to their industry roles, Dr. Wieprecht was a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Biozentrum, University of Basel.
