Edgar Schmidt

Edgar Schmidt is a seasoned professional in the field of cybersecurity, currently serving as a Cyber Threat Intelligence Manager at BASF since November 2022. Prior to this role, Edgar spent nearly two decades at BASF in various positions including Security Remediation Manager, Security Consultant, Project Manager, and Senior Software Consultant. Earlier in Edgar's career, experience as a System Engineer was gained at CompuNet, Inc. from June 1997 to December 2001. Edgar holds a Diploma of Education in Computer Science and Economics from the University of Mannheim, earned in May 1997.
