Eric Smith

Eric Smith is an experienced professional in the chemical and engineering sectors, currently serving as an Account Manager for FCC Catalysts at BASF since May 2022. Prior to this role, Eric held positions at Becht as both a Senior Process Engineer and Corporate Account Manager from May 2020 to May 2022. Earlier experience includes serving as a Process Engineer at Marathon Petroleum Corporation from March 2018 to May 2020, focusing on fluidized catalytic cracking and gas concentration units, as well as steam generation and water treatment. Eric’s career began at Nalco Champion, where responsibilities included Chemical Application Engineer and Account Manager from April 2015 to February 2018. Eric holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Business Administration from New Mexico State University, completed in 2014 and 2008, respectively.
