Eugen Risto is currently a Production Manager for the Trilon Cluster at BASF SE. They began their professional journey as a trainee at BASF in 2013, focusing on pesticide research and the synthesis of fungicides. After completing a PhD in method development and homogeneous catalysis at TU Kaiserslautern from 2013 to 2016, Eugen worked as a project leader for custom projects at hte GmbH from 2016 to 2019. They then served as a Lab Team Leader at BASF SE from 2019 to 2023 before assuming their current role. Eugen holds a diploma in organic chemistry with a specialization in catalysis, also from TU Kaiserslautern.
