Farouk Wasswa

Farouk Wasswa is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in treasury and accounting roles. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant - Treasury EMEA at BASF since September 2021, Farouk has also held positions as Senior Treasury Analyst and Treasury Management Associate within the same company. Concurrently, Farouk occupies the role of CFO at Artsy Africa Academy, a position held since June 2019, and has experience in project management. Prior to these roles, Farouk worked at KAL Associates CPA as an Audit Associate and Audit Intern and gained administrative experience as an Administrative & Operations Assistant at Riverside Investments. Farouk's academic credentials include a Master of International Business Studies from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the Islamic University in Uganda.
