Fernando Wins

Fernando Wins is currently the Customs and Foreign Trade Manager at BASF Services Americas and has held the position since 2021. From April 2020 to 2021, Fernando served as the Director of the Strategic Planning Division at the National Customs Directorate of Uruguay, where they defined the organizational strategy and monitored key performance indicators. Previously, they worked as a Risk Control and Management Manager at the same organization from 2015 to 2020, focusing on combating various risks faced by customs. With experience in project management, process reengineering, and customs advisory roles, Fernando also shares knowledge as a lecturer on logistics administration at UTEC and has consulted for multiple international entities. Fernando earned a degree in Business Administration from the Universidad de la República between 1995 and 2004.
