Filipe Bertagna

Filipe Bertagna is an agronomic engineer specializing in genetic and plant breeding. Currently, they serve as the Discovery Breeding Manager for Cotton at BASF and are a PhD student at Maringá State University. Filipe has held various roles in research and development, including NSP Manager and Controlled Environment Manager at Syngenta, and R&D Manager at SEMPRE. They also gained valuable experience as an affiliate student at Mississippi State University, where they collaborated on projects with USDA researchers. Filipe holds a Master's and Doctorate in plant breeding from Universidade Estadual de Maringá.
