Florian Richter is currently the Team Lead for Product Development at BASF, where they have held various roles, including Senior Manager of Product and New Business Development and Group Leader for Product Development R&D Ultradur. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Scientist and Lab Team Leader at BASF from 2012 to 2016. Florian began their academic journey at Universität Bayreuth, earning a Diplom Chemist degree in Polymer Chemistry before completing a PhD in the same field at the same institution between 2008 and 2012. Additionally, they studied Materials Science and Engineering at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg from 2002 to 2003.
