Frank Treffer is a retired Senior Technology Manager with extensive experience in battery recycling and sustainability. They began their career as a System Engineer at VDO - Adolf Schindling AG from 1985 to 1992, developing technologies for LCD bonding. Frank then held various leadership roles at Umicore AG & Co. KG, including Head of Organisational Development and QEHS Management from 1993 to 2008 and later as Head of Umicore Battery Recycling from 2009 to 2022, focusing on compliant and environmentally sound recycling processes.
