Frederic Viaene possesses extensive experience in energy and utility management, having served as Head of Utility Management at BASF from December 2010 to March 2019, where responsibility included managing a team of 16 energy specialists and overseeing market processes for power and natural gas. As Project Lead for the Antwerp 4.0 project, Frederic developed a strategy for Verbund digitalisation, integrating various planning processes to enhance optimization. Additionally, Frederic led strategy and negotiations for the Zandvliet Power joint venture with Engie. Prior to BASF, experience includes a role as Business Analyst at Arthur D.
