Frederik Hilgers

Frederik Hilgers is a senior strategy professional in the chemical industry, currently focused on applied sustainability at BASF Care Chemicals. From 2020 to 2023, Frederik served as Marketing Manager for BASF Home Care and I&I Europe, where they drove sustainability initiatives and achieved significant sales growth. Prior to that, Frederik has held various roles at BASF and other organizations, including project management and strategic consulting positions. They are recognized for their contributions to sustainability, including receiving BASF’s first-ever Sustainability Award for effectively commercializing sustainability at scale. Frederik holds a Master of Science from Universität Mannheim and continues to pursue studies at the University of Exeter and NYU Stern School of Business.
