Gops Pillay

Gops Pillay is a seasoned executive with extensive experience at BASF since January 1995, currently serving as President of the Global Operating Division, overseeing the global P&L and balance sheet. Pillay has held various senior roles within BASF, including President of the Regional Division for the Asia Pacific Region and Senior Vice President, managing P&L across the region, with expertise in strategic management, marketing, sales, and technology R&D. Prior to BASF, Gops Pillay worked at Huls, Supacryl/Rohm&Haas, starting as a Graduate Chemist and advancing through roles in product management and technical sales. Educational qualifications include studies at INSEAD, the Institute of Marketing Management, and the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
