Han Yu is currently the Head of Asia Pacific Sales for BASF Stationary Energy Storage, leading the Asia Sales team for sodium-sulfur batteries and utility-scale energy storage solutions. Previously, Han held various roles at BASF, including Senior Scientist and Manager of the MEA Department, where they focused on membrane electrode assembly and fuel cell technology. Han's extensive background in research and development includes experience as a Post-Doc Research Associate at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Senior Researcher at Samsung SDI, specializing in liquid crystal and organic light-emitting displays. Han earned a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute after completing both a BS and MS in Chemistry at Korea University.
